Costs for studying / fees
The University of Bonn is a public university that does not charge tuition. Applications for admission are also free of charge. However, all students must pay the so-called social contribution (or semester fee) which is around 320 to 350 Euro per semester (currently 345,07 Euro). This includes a ticket for public transportation in the Bonn/Cologne area.

Living
Costs for living amounts to around 900 Euro per month.
Scholarships
The Plant Sciences Master Program cannot provide scholarships. You might also look for possibilities at the www.daad.de website (German scholarship database) or national funding agencies in your country. Also see

In the Plant Sciences Master Program we do not have a central data base for job opportunities. However, you may check individual research groups for employment possibilities yourself after arrival.
