Modules
The program is fully modularized to offer optimal choices of courses and maximal flexibility according to the European Credit Point Transfer System (ECTS). The module frame work is built on the following three learning categories:
- Plant Biochemistry, Physiology and Molecular Biology
- Plant Cell Biology and Development
- Plant Biodiversity, Evolution and Systematics
Students collect a total of 120 credit points (CP) to obtain their Master degree, i.e. 30 CP per semester. For details please refer to the Examination Regulations (Prüfungsordnung).
The lectures PBPM0 (Plant Biochemistry, Physiology and Molecular Biology), PGMA (Plant Genetics, Morphology and Cell Architecture), OB1 (Organismic Botany 1 – Plant Systematics and Biodiversity) and OB2 (Organismic Botany 2 – Vegetation and Plant Ecology) are obligatory theory modules.
It is also obligatory to take a minimum of three seminar modules and three lab modules.
